Having made a number of ceremonial rose bowls, I continue to be intrigued by the form—a simple bowl with an elaborate removable grill. This piece is a Canadian celebration, combining Canadian materials (silver, gold, labradorite and amethyst) and, of course, our national symbol, the maple leaf.  All very iconic!
