“Cleopatra” Necklace 18K gold, 5.4ct tanzanite, fringe pearls, diamonds, inlays of lapis lazuli and sugilite 50 x 5 cm The inspiration for this piece is from the brightly coloured bead broad collars of ancient Egypt. They were very skilled at inlays and were particularly fond of lapis lazuli. The rare tanzanite is a relatively newly discovered gemstone found only in small areas of Tanzania, Africa. |
